WCL Semi-Final Live Updates, South Africa vs Australia Champions: Australia Champions failed to chase a 187-run target against South Africa Champions in the second semi-final of the World Championships of Legends. After opting to bat first, South Africa Champions’ AB de Villiers couldn’t replicate hisform from the last game and fell pretty early on but JJ Smuts and Morne van Wyk made it feel like that dismissal didn’t matter. They started to pick up boundaries towards the end of the Powerplay and kept on carnage for plenty of overs after that as well. Both batters brought up individual fifties but in the second half of the innings, things started to turn around. Once Smuts fell, the batters that came in couldn’t got going and van Wyk made a valiant 76, which wasn’t enough to lift the score beyond 200. Many batters got starts in the Australia Champions batting lineup, but except for Dan Christian, none of them crossed the 40-run mark. (SCORECARD)
