For the first time since her royal wedding, Meghan Markle is getting back in the saddle!
Nearly ten years after tying the knot with Prince Harry and stepping away from Hollywood, Meg has taken on a new acting role in an upcoming movie called Close Personal Friends. Even though it’s a smaller role, this is a HUGE moment for the Duchess of Sussex — whose last acting credit comes from way back in 2017 when she left Suits. It’s been a while, y’all!

And as you can imagine, after that long of a hiatus, she was a bit nervous! Last Wednesday, she was photographed on set in Pasadena. An insider dished to People on Monday about her iconic return, saying she’s actually been incredibly pleasant and down-to-earth:
“She introduced herself as ‘Meghan.’ Everything about her was very sweet and calm. She genuinely seemed excited to be on set.”
Aw! We know what you’re wondering, though… How did she do after almost a decade out of the business? The source said:
“She was joking that she felt a bit rusty, but it was obvious that she had rehearsed and that it was a big deal for her to be back. And she was great.”
Aww! It took no time for her to find that acting footing again!
Her acting wasn’t the only thing the insider said was good, though. They said her overall vibe was just wonderful:
“She had a very warm energy, too. She was super pleasant to be around.”
