Aditya Pancholi fell in love with Pooja Bedi while his marriage with Zarina Wahab was going through a rough patch in the late ’90s. Pooja, who was head over heels in love with Aditya, spoke about her relationship in magazine interviews back in the day. But things turned ugly when Pooja accused Aditya of raping her minor maid. As per reports, she filed a complaint against Aditya. However, both Aditya and the maid said the relationship was “consensual.”

Back in the day, Pooja narrated the whole episode of discovering what Aditya did to her maid in vivid detail during a magazine interview.
After noticing love bites on her maid’s neck, Pooja teased her. She asked her boyfriend’s name, though she didn’t disclose it herself.
“A few days ago, my maid showed me some bruises on her neck, which I recognised as love bites. I teased her and asked her who her aashiq was but she said that she did not have any,” Pooja said.
“Then last night I was talking to her and again I asked her playfully what was her boyfriend’s name. She hesitated a little and said that I knew him. So I started to name all the guys I knew she knew when suddenly, looking at her downcast face, I asked if it was Aditya? At that, she burst into tears and said, yes, it was him,” Pooja continued.
A stunned Pooja asked her more to know when it exactly happened. Pooja revealed that Aditya had a relationship with her when they (Pooja and Aditya) had a fight. Pooja shared that Aditya made a false promise to her of turning her into an actress and played with her mind.
“When I asked her why she let him do it, not once but all the other times, she said, ‘Ek baar jab hogaya fir kya farak padta hai.’ It seemed he used to come to my house when I was not at home. Sometimes he’d go straight to the maid. He kept telling her she was the only one he ever loved,” Pooja said.
What Pooja Said After Her Break Up With Aditya Pancholi
After Pooja’s tumultuous love story with Aditya Pancholi came to an end, she reflected upon her relationship and shared what went wrong.
She said, “It was inevitable. Our relationship was as good as dead for a couple of months now. We were just holding on to it, hoping we could find a solution. But I guess things had gone too far. There were no drives, no dates, no going together to the parties, no meetings, nothing for a very long time. So, what could I do?”
“I think he wants to go back to Zarina. I don’t know, at least that is what I gathered. I think Aditya and Zarina are weaning towards each other. He probably broke off with me because he wanted to go back to her. But I know for sure that if he does go back it’ll be only for the sake of his daughter Sanaa… Anyway, since it’s all over between us, I think he’s entitled to live his life the way he wants to,” Pooja reasoned why Aditya left her.
