An Iranian lower court has handed heavy prison sentences to two French citizens charged with spying for France and Israel, without specifically naming the defendants. The only two French citizens being held in Iran are Cécile Kohler and her partner Jacques Paris, who have been detained since 2022. FRANCE 24’s Emerald Maxwell has a look at who they are.
