On the day Donald Trump was sworn in as President of the United States, he vowed to try to ‘stop all wars,’ and presented himself as a ‘peacemaker’ and a ‘unifier’. But while his second presidency is still in its infancy, wars continue on multiple fronts and now the escalating attacks between Israel and Iran risk dragging U.S. troops into the conflict. The US President says he pursues peace through strength and is still pushing for a nuclear deal. But will he be forced to get involved? Eliza Herbert takes a look.
