A woman has gone viral for her claim that Disney World enforced their dress policy on her. But is she right to complain? Or is she the one in the wrong here??
TikTok user Nicole Arena posted a selfie with her husband in the Magic Kingdom — before entering, apparently. Because when she got in and was waiting in line to get on a ride, she says security stopped her! She wrote:
“Was so happy to be here that I didn’t realize I was ‘improperly dressed’ and would be forced to buy a $45 t-shirt or else I could not get on the ride I waited an hour for”
Whoa! That’s so annoying!

But… what was she wearing? She posted afterward for everyone wondering…

A sports bra and leggings. Gym clothes, basically. She said in another video:
“I had nothing showing other than my stomach and my arms, but you guys are acting like I went out naked. Anyone who goes to the gym knows it’s totally fine to walk around with a sports bra and leggings on. I just went to Disney how I would go to the gym.”
But most commenters agreed with Disney! There are tons of comments telling her she was in the wrong here:
“Disney and the gym are two different places. A bra goes under shirts in family-friendly establishments.”
“If it’s a bra, it’s underwear. I don’t think I could get in wearing underwear.”
“Perfectly appropriate for the gym. Not appropriate for anywhere in public, not just Disney.”
“I agree… inappropriate for Disney world or out shopping to be honest. Just bc ppl do it doesn’t make it right.”
“It’s a sports bra. At a family friendly amusement park. wtf did you think was going to happen?”
“My working assumption is that everywhere other than the pool, gym, and beach has a please wear a shirt dress code”
“I mean it’s a bra. Of course, you can’t wear it to a family park. Be so for real. I am so happy they are finally cracking down”
“Ummm. You forgot your shirt, ma’am. I’m usually on the side of ‘Eh, who cares. Let her wear what she wants.’ But clothes are a fair thing to require.”
We actually couldn’t find any comments agreeing with her! But what do YOU think, Perezcious readers? Gym clothes at Disney? Or just wear a shirt!?
