Workers employed in French bases concerned as France withdraws from Senegal

French troops are set to completely withdraw from Senegal by the end of 2025, following an announcement by President Diomaye Faye. But the Senegalese workers employed on France’s military bases are feeling apprehensive – despite measures offered by the French army, many remain uncertain about their future.
