Senegal’s national football team has announced its lineup for two key World Cup qualifying games. Among those selected are several star players who were born, raised, and trained in Europe. Following a recent trend, more and more African players are choosing to represent their home country’s national team, like Assane Diao. The Senegalese player has lived in Spain since he was one year old, and many fans expected him to join the Spanish team. France 24’s Caitlin Kelly tells us more.
